Kleine Nachtrevue

Kleine Nachtrevue is a place of sharp-tongued words, ambiguous lyrics and also a stronghold of stripped clothes. This small twenties-style cabaret theater has existed for 18 years in Berlin. The programmes are gorgeous and versatile, from erotic theater to naked ballet, acrobatics, chansons and high-class burlesque.

Here Nada Njiente performs different erotic theater plays and shows. In the year 2003 she started with the piece "Einmal Huren rauf und runter". After her beginnings in KitKatClub and the legendary DarkSide Club she has found a new home there. On the small, yet professional stage of this intimate theater Nada Njiente skilfully interprets songs by Holländer and Brecht, chansons, musical songs and monologues.

She shows her acting and dancing skills in a theater play on the topic of BDSM, an erotic piece including words by Pietro Aretino and last but not least in a sneaky burlesque persiflage. On the event calendar today you can find the plays "Burleske Huren rauf und runter", "Anleitung zur Domina" and "Be a Stripper, Be a Star".

Burlesque as you like it. Burlesque derives from Salome's Dance of the Seven Veils and is so much more than Dita von Teese and the uptight striptease by housewives called New Burlesque.

Gipsy Rose Lee, the burlesque striptease queen of the fifties meets the first Playboy pinup girl, Bettie Page. Together they remember their big time and surprisingly enjoy the burlesque show at Kleine Nachtrevue. Burlesque workshops and Dita von Teese are not even taken seriously there.
